Midweek Bump: ‘Todo o Nada’ Closing Party + Skrillex

written by November 22, 2011

Skillrex scratching away.

Who doesn’t love a good reason to be utterly tired during work on a Thursday morning?
Well we have TWO good reasons for you to stay up late this Wednesday night:

Mario Testino ‘Todo o Nada’ Closing party – Never made it to the ‘Todo o Nada’ exhibit, (of fashion photographer Mario Testino’s work), on Via del Corso, and kicking yourself for it? Well this Wednesday, starting at 7 PM, attend the closing party! Check out his stunning photographs, while munching on/gulping down your aperitivo. There will also be a DJ spinning tunes, so don’t miss out on this special artsy + foody + dancey event!
When: Wednesday, November 23rd from 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Where: Palazzo Ruspoli
Cost: 25 euro- including aperitivo buffet, and DJ set
RSVP: The Facebook event can be found here. Email, call, or write your name on event wall to rsvp.

SKRILLEX live! – aka LA-born Sonny Moore, brings his electro-house and dubstep sounds to Atlantico’s stage this Wednesday.
Also: UK-based Flux Pavillion will be opening for Skrillex,  showcasing cutting edge dubstep beats.
Take it from me, a self-proclaimed electro music pro, these two performances are not to be missed! (Even if it is all the way in EUR!)
When: Wednesday, November 23rd from 10:00 PM – you drop AM
Where: Atlantico – Via dell’Oceano Atlantico, 271/d
Cost: 25 euro
Info: You can find out more about each band and how to get tickets on the Atlantico site (info in Italian).

My Story

A smidgen about me: growing up bouncing back and forth between Rome and Northern California, I eventually moved back to the Eternal City to finish college and then decided I liked gelato too much to move away again. Today I split my time between Tunis, where I work for an international organization, and wandering around my beloved Roma in constant search of bookstores and the perfect espresso. Read more…
