Friday: In the mood for some sweets? Catch the train out to Ostia for their first ever Salone del Cioccolato. The chocolate expo will be in Piazza Anco Marzio through Sunday, from 10am-9pm daily. Entrance is free, and delicious. Back here in Rome proper, The Who’s Roger Daltrey is taking the stage at the Auditorium Conciliazione for the second time this week. Online ticket sales are closed, but resellers still have some available.
Saturday: The FAI Spring Days start on Saturday, allowing access to some pretty cool heritage sites across the country. Check out the full post for more info. To take a break from all this beautiful spring weather, head to the Chiostro del Bramante for the newly opened Miro show, or go over to the Complesso del Vittoriano to see a collection of Dali paintings, sketches, and Disney collaborations!
Sunday: It’s the last Sunday of the month, so, as always, entrance is free to the Vatican Museums. Since it’s spring break season already, the lines are sure to be long, although aiming for the last entry, around 1pm, usually seems to be the best bet. But, don’t forget that European Summer Time starts on Sunday morning – we’re springing the clocks forward one hour!
