If you spend as much time as I do on the beach, then it’s probably good for you to learn today’s Word of the Day: Carnagione.
Carnagione is the Italian noun (f) for complexion. Being as white as I am, I hear this word a lot, referring to how mozzarella white-like my carnagione is. After months of tanning though, I hope to only hear it used with the word ‘normal.’ At least until about… October.
Example:
‘Valeria è scura di carnagione.’ – Valeria is dark-skinned. (Valeria has a dark complexion).
