Which Way to Rome

the magic of getting lost but finding home wherever you are

Used Book Sale in Rome!

written by Young in Rome January 31, 2014
Used Book Sale in Rome!

The Santa Susanna English-language library (that we wrote about here) is having a used book sale that starts Wednesday, February 26th (from 3 PM to 6 PM) and continues until Friday, March 7th (during normal library opening hours). The library is having a tough time staying open, so if you’re looking for some great books or want to become a member, hop on over there – there are already so few places in Rome that make it easy (and cheap!) to read in English, let’s not lose this little gem! If you want more details, feel free to send an email to the lovely Ms. Tonia White, Library Coordinator, at susannalibrary@gmail.com.

Library Opening Hours:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 AM – 1 PM
  • Wednesdays 3 – 6 PM
  • Fridays 1 – 4 PM
  • Sundays: 10 AM – 12:30 PM

*As always, remember that the library isn’t open if there’s a public transportation strike!*

My Story

A smidgen about me: growing up bouncing back and forth between Rome and Northern California, I eventually moved back to the Eternal City to finish college and then decided I liked gelato too much to move away again. Today I split my time between Tunis, where I work for an international organization, and wandering around my beloved Roma in constant search of bookstores and the perfect espresso. Read more…
