25 Must-Haves for all Book Lovers (let’s support children’s literacy!)

25 Must-Haves for all Book Lovers (let’s support children’s literacy!)

Note from Flav: A couple of days ago I got an email from the awesome Laura at iRead Book Tours, mentioning that Next Century Publishing was doing a 20% off sale on all of J.K. Rowling’s books in order to bring attention to their Grant Program, which is giving away one million books to children across the United States. Did I want to post one of their guest posts on YiR to help spread the word about this wonderful program? You bet your bottom I did. You had me at “Harry Potter” and “children’s literacy”. Also, I loved the post they were proposing – so read on, YiR-ers, for some awesome products and details on this gorgeous incentive. Now if you’ll excuse me, I am going out to buy a garden so I have a place for the one fire pit to rule them all.

Love your list. Don’t miss the Literary Gift Co. where you can get a Romeo and Julienne cutting board (for star-crossed lovers of chopped food), a Jane Austin cookie cutter, or an “I Capture the Castle” tea towel!

My Story

A smidgen about me: growing up bouncing back and forth between Rome and Northern California, I eventually moved back to the Eternal City to finish college and then decided I liked gelato too much to move away again. Today I split my time between Tunis, where I work for an international organization, and wandering around my beloved Roma in constant search of bookstores and the perfect espresso. Read more…
