Looking for something amazing to do next Friday, June 20th? So are we. Read on!
There’s an open-air venue in Rome. Well, okay, more than one, but for this conversation, there’s only one that matters. Then there are some amazing artists, including French singer Sandro Joyeux, Copenhagen-based DJ Directoratet, and CAIN, an electronic producer and DJ (check out his hit Havana Cultura for Giles Peterson right here). Add all of this to the fact that Sound Foundation uses all of the proceeds to fund their music education programme in and around Kampala, Uganda, and what you have is an event that we all really want to be a part of. Details below, courtesy of Sound Foundation themselves!
When? Friday, June 20th, 2014
What Time? Doors open at 9 PM, which means there is plenty of time to see the Italy/Costa Rica game beforehand and then head over!
What Is This Gonna Cost Me? Entry is €10 if you sign up to the event guest list via the Sound Foundation Facebook page here, or €15 at the door. Don’t forget that every cent goes to a seriously good cause. Drink prices range from €4 to €7.
Okay! I’m In! Where Do I Go? The main stage at Citta dell’Altra Economia, next to MACRO Testaccio, in Largo Dino Frisullo, 00153. The main stage is right by Cafè Boario, in a fully open-air space:
