Reading this title of this post, you might say to yourself “Really, Young in Rome, you’re calling this news? I pass at least 12 Madonnas every day on my walk to school.” And yes, while one does tend to encounter quite a few representations and interpretations of the Madonna, Mother of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, on a standard stroll through our fair city, we’re getting a Madonna of a different kind this summer! On June 12th, Madonna (entertainer) – as Wikipedia so fascinatingly distinguishes her – is performing at the Stadio Olimpico! Tickets go on sale Friday, March 23rd at 10am. Ticket prices are posted yet, but her tour dates in Milan and Florence later that week feature tickets in the 45-155 euro range. Needless to say, it will be your best bet to purchase early on, as these tickets are sure to go quicker than a ray of light. Can you believe that’s the reference I chose?
Madonna in Rome!
