To ring in the holiday season we’re hosting an aperitivo get together at the bar at Pierluigi on Tuesday Dec. 20th. Expert barman Gabriele Guidoni will start the evening off with two small tastes of his favorite twists on classic cocktails, to be followed by a cocktail of your choosing. A selection of heavy appetizers will be prepared by Young in Rome’s own Sam Alberts, who will be offering his takes on a few of the house specialties.

Americano Up – Campari, Carpano Antica Forumla sweet vermouth, Grapefruit foam

Pimm’s Italiano – Pimm’s no. 1, fresh cucumber, Cynar, Tonic water
Jessi Sour – St. Germain Liquer, Jasmine Tea, Fresh lemon juice
California Gimlet – Vodka or Gin, Fresh lemon juice, simple syrup
Sabaudia Gimlet – Vodka, fresh mint, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, lemon bitters
Tommy’s Margarita – Tequila, Agave nectar, fresh lime juice
Scarlett Marini – Vodka, Chambord, fresh raspberries, fresh lime juice, vanilla syrup
Martinez – Gin of our choice, bitters, Carpano Antica Forumla sweet vermouth
Sazerac – Rye whiskey, sugar cube, Peychaud’s bitters, Angostura bitters, Absinthe
Pina’s Habit – Galliano l’Autentico, Frangelico, Cointreau, Pineapple juice, lemon zest
